Christopher Strebel works at the World Health Organization where until recently he led the Digital Content eXperience team and is the business lead for the international roll-out of the organization’s new digital presence. Previously he was the Editor-in-Chief of the WHO website and was communications focal point for the department of Neglected Tropical Diseases.

He is also currently on the Governing Board of the International School of Geneva, the world’s first-ever international school and the birthplace of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Prior to WHO he worked in UNESCO’s education sector as the manager of the IBE website and on improving ICTs in Education. He was in charge of the training and communications for the GigaPan Project that combined web and robotic technology to connect schools around the world.

Christopher worked in web technologies in New York, consulting for a number of companies before moving into technology entrepreneurship and becoming a founding member and CIO of a start-up venture.
